SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 2026, Kharros today announced that its source-selection and contract-management platform has been assessed Awardable through the Department of War’s Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace (TSM).
The designation makes Kharros available through a Department of War acquisition marketplace designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital, and data analytics capabilities. Awardable solutions in TSM have been assessed through competitive procedures and scoring rubrics before being made available to Government Customers with marketplace accounts.

For Kharros, the Awardable designation represents another step toward closing one of the most persistent gaps in modern government acquisition: the evaluation layer between identifying promising technology and making a rigorous, defensible award decision. Modern acquisition pathways can dramatically increase the speed at which government organizations reach commercial industry. But attracting more vendors also creates a new challenge. Acquisition teams still need to evaluate large numbers of submissions against mission requirements, document the basis for their decisions, and maintain a defensible record of how those decisions were made. Kharros is built for that evaluation layer.
The platform gives acquisition teams a structured environment to assess competing solutions against defined requirements, produce consistent and traceable evaluations, preserve the evidence behind source-selection decisions, and carry that evaluation framework into contract performance. The government decision-maker remains in control throughout the process.
“Tradewinds is important because it is focused on the same problem we think about every day: how to get capable technology into government faster without sacrificing the rigor behind the decision,” said Kayden Ozdemir, Co-Founder of Kharros. “Being assessed Awardable gives Government Customers a more direct path to bring Kharros into acquisition workflows where speed, objective evaluation, and defensibility all matter.”
The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace enables Government Customers to review Awardable solution videos and communicate directly with solution providers to request additional information or demonstrations. When a Government Customer is ready to procure a solution, they can work with their contracting support activity or engage Tradewinds acquisition support. Kharros’ presence on TSM expands the pathways available to government organizations seeking to modernize source selection, technical evaluation, and contract-management workflows while maintaining a clear evidentiary record behind acquisition decisions.
